Business Development Manager – Lifting / Spreader Beams
Location – Doncaster, South Yorkshire


SectionLift UK are leaders in the field of Lifting and Spreader beam design, manufacture, sales and hire with history dating back 25 years. We have a proven track record in the design and manufacture of lifting and spreader beams up to 2000 tonnes providing cost effective solutions to a worldwide market.


A position for Business Development Manager has arisen at our Doncaster Head Office. This is a career progression role, which will lead into management. At present, the company are going from strength to strength and have been expanding rapidly over the last few years.
This role will involve specification lifting and spreader beams, visiting clients to assess their lifting equipment requirements and providing viable cost effective solutions. These solutions will involve, but are not limited to, specifying all forms of lifting and pulling equipment, runway and spreader beams, load testing and inspection.

This Business Development Manager role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class, reporting directly to the Managing Director.


• Proven Business Development experience from within a related lifting equipment / materials handling sector.
• Must have up to date technical industry knowledge and contacts.
• Key account management.
• Long term relationship development.
• Ability to branch into new markets and customers.
• Energetic and innovative approach to management and sales.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Team orientated.
• Technically adept.
• Commercially astute.
• Diligent / keen attention to detail.


Salary in the range of £28-35K basic depending on experience with additional benefits.​ In addition, there will be a structured career development program, generous holiday allowance and pension.​
